A Non-Denominational Church

in the Heart of Historic St. Charles

The House of Elohim is located near Historic Downtown St. Charles, a beloved Missouri riverfront community known for its rich heritage and timeless charm. Just a short drive from the church, the historic district and the nearby Frenchtown neighborhood reflect the early roots of the region — from French settlers and traders to the pioneers who helped shape Missouri’s identity. St. Charles served as the first state capital of Missouri and was the launching point for the Lewis and Clark Expedition, giving the area a legacy of exploration, resilience, and faith.

Today, Historic St. Charles is celebrated for its 19th‑century architecture, brick-lined streets, local shops, and warm, small‑town atmosphere. It’s a place where history and community come together, drawing visitors and families from across the region.

At The House of Elohim, we carry a deep love for this community. Being planted near such a meaningful part of Missouri’s history inspires us to serve with purpose, compassion, and a genuine desire to see lives transformed. Just as St. Charles has long been a place of beginnings and journeys, we believe our church is a place where people can begin again, grow in their faith, and walk out the journey God has prepared for them.

VISION (3).png

Our Vision

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.” — Habakkuk 2:2

At The House of Elohim, we make the vision clear and rooted in God’s Word. Jesus commanded us to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel… and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19–20), and He also taught us that “the greatest of these is love” and that we are to love one another as He has loved us.

Our vision is to be a Christ‑centered church that brings hope, healing, and transformation to St. Charles and beyond — lifting up Jesus as Lord, proclaiming His Gospel, equipping believers to walk in their God‑given purpose, and above all, demonstrating the love of Christ in everything we do.
